DH accepts Spokane Internship Guide Business Award

February 24, 2020
Earlier this month DH attended the Spokane Workforce Council (SWC) board meeting to accept the Spokane Internship Guide Business Award recognizing our internship program for communications and design students. It was our pleasure to be recognized with other organizations in the community who offer outstanding internship programs, including our clients at Innovia Foundation and former clients at Pearson Packaging.

Internships offer students a chance to bring classroom curriculum to life and get them on a fast-track to a successful career, while also offering businesses a critical layer of tactical support and the chance to mentor the next generation. We’re grateful to SWC for developing tools that businesses need to create their own internship programs. SWC does incredible work to drive they in driving the workforce our community needs for future success.

Recently, Tyler and Jasmine accepted a proclamation by County Commissioner Josh Kerns recognizing the firm for this award. Jasmine started as an intern and is now an invaluable member of our account team. You can see Jasmine and Michelle Hege talk about our program in this video produced by KSPS:

Most importantly, we’re especially grateful for our amazing interns who provide so much insight and support as members of our team!
Grace and Ruben

Ruben and Grace are our current Communications Interns, support with a variety of market research, writing projects, social media implementation and more!

Thanks to both of you for all your hard work.
